download facility

how do I put a download facility on my webpage so that
people can download a file I put there for them.

Your help with this will be appreciated

Import the file into a location inside
your web.
Create a link to the file.
Publish the web.
If it is an exe or zip file, it will open
the download screen on a visitors computer.
