Download Dilemma

http://www.filelibrary.com/

I cannot get any of the download links to work. For example the site
shows this link:

http://www.filelibrary.com:8080/cgi-bin/freedownload/Windows/q/126/exescan.zip

I removed the :8080 - and tried

http://www.filelibrary.com/cgi-bin/freedownload/Windows/q/126/exescan.zip

That change worked in the past - it doesn't seem to work now. (The
operation times out.) I've tried a number of files without success. . .

Can anyone tell me how to download files from this site?

Time-out (can not connect with site) on both d/l links. Is this it:
<ftp://ftp.externet.hu/pub/mirror/sac/utilmisc/exescan.zip>
from: <http://sac-ftp.externet.hu/utilmisc10.html>

The first link gave me a timeout, the second gave this message:

An error has occurred. The webmaster has been notified, and it should be
cleared up shortly. Thank you for your patience.

DEBUGGING INFO:

Couldn't access /drive/q/126/exescan.zip

Yes, thanks Bjorn. :)

Unfortunately at least 7 apps on the ACF program pages are linked to the
filelibrary.com site - the site itself is loading fine - so I suspect
there may be some additional problem. . . I'm hoping I won't have to
look for new links for those apps - some of them are going to be hard to
find. For instance:

Program: COMODO
Author: (Andres Hubert)
Install: CLI
http://www.filelibrary.com/cgi-bin/freedownload/DOS/j/102/comodo20.zip
(28 KB) (28656 bytes)

IIRC this was the only download around. . . (I do have this file)

I'm *trying* to fill in more author's name. Sometimes downloading the
file seems to be required to find that info (and sometimes even that
doesn't help). IOW - I'm getting sidetracked. . . ;)

I know it's not much help unless you already have the files, but for those that you do....... if you need somewhere to host them...... ;o)

You're right - I see the same message - I've been fiddling with this off
and on since yesterday - lost track of what I saw on the screen.

Thanks Steven, that's the only file I have of the ones that are linked
to filelibrary.com :( I'm hoping this very nice archive isn't in the
process of disappearing. . .

It has not been updated for years, and in my experience some days it
work, some days it don't....

So we'll better have to download what we want before it's to late...

Vegard says the site is intermittent (it's still down ATM) - I'm going
to keep an eye on it - hoping it will come back to life again. . .
