Hi. I use MSIE 6, Build 2800 with Win XP Pro. Lately, for
some reason, when I click a link to download a file, I no
longer get a download dialog box which asks me if I want
to open the file or save it to my computer. Files now
download automatically into my Temporary Internet Files
folder. This is not what I want to happen. I've checked
out my Folder Options-File Types and verified that
the "Confirm open after download" box for all file types
that I normally download (.exe, .zip, .rar, etc.) was
checked. I'm thinking that maybe the problem is somewhere
within the Registry but I don't know where to look. Can
someone help me to get the download dialog box back? Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
