In our organisation we have an application which runs very
well in Windows 98 & NT but it takes a long time in
Windows 2000/XP. There is a delay of around 10-12 secs.
The application is on a NT4 Server and is accessed from a
mapped drive. Please provide me with a solution which
address my issue.

Although well phrased, it is far from a complete request. You have not told
us the application, what you have tried, does it work better locally, does
it work better in compatibility modes?

A little more detail, as my first advice would be "upgrade the application
in question, it's old."
