Hello Rodger,
| ( i.eWord objects are
| resized and cutoff. Charts are blank. Some files can't
| be opened at all.)
For the "Charts are blank" and "Some files can't be opened at all" theres a
good chance that we already have a fix for you. You might be encountering a
known OfficeArt (Office Drawing Objects) issue which can occur when a file
saved in a previous version is opened up in Office 2003 (PowerPoint, Word
or Excel).
Please check the information in the Microsoft Knowledgebase:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;828041
Let us know if this resolves these two problems for you.
For the "Word objects are resized and cutoff", It would be great to know
more about this. Could you please post a 1-slide ONLY presentation which
(when viewed in an earlier version of PowerPoint does not exhibit the
problem) and steps on what you do to the slide/object in PowerPoint 2003
which result in the problem manifesting itself for you?
Thanks,
John Langhans
