I am currently running XP on my laptop, and am need to
downgrade to Windows2000 to get a VPN client to run.
What steps do I need to do to perform this?

I have the Win2K installation on my hard drive. When I
try to install it says it is disabling the installation,
because a newer version is already running.

I do not have a floppy drive and I do not have the CD to
perform the install.

Any ideas?

hi. I did downgrade from XP to win2k but with a couple of
desktops. This should apply with laptop too as far as I
know. I did boot from CD. I don't know about if you don't
have the win2k CD. You need to boot up on maybe on a
network drive to get win2k install starts up. Goodluck.
