Hi,

I've upgraded an old computer from Win 98 to win2k, but
the poor computer can't deal with it. It has two hard-
drives -- one is removable.

1) Do I have to reformat both drives?

2) for reistalling win98, do I need a bootable flopppy?

Thanks!

Michael

1.) No, just format the Windows 2000 boot partition.

2.) Either that or boot the CD-Rom

Thanks very much!

.

How can we format the Windows 2000 boot partition only?
Usually format means delete all files on the harddisk.
Please advice if I am mistaken.

Thanks,

A number of ways to do this. Post some details of the situation, what
operating systems are involved, what partitions they're installed on and
what the desired end result is.
