Using WindowsXP, I attempt to download a file from a web
page to a specific location on one of my hard disks,
however when I click on the file I get a flash card look
at the menu saying it is sending the file to the Document
and Settings folder on my C: drive. I get no chance to
indicate my preference. To further complicate things when
I go to Search to try to find the exact location of the
file I get a message "File not found" try anotjher search
using new criteria. Why and how cn I correct this
problem? I the location to place the file in a web cookie
or is it a fault of Internet Explorer? I have loaded a
new copy of XP to see if it would correct--it didn't! Can
anyone help with my problem?
