Doubts in this referencing

does anyone understand what does this
NineBlock additional DRAGON .xls in this path being displayed on the
formula bar mean

='C:\Users\satyajit.sarangdhar\Desktop\[NineBlock additional
DRAGON.xls]NineBlock 3'!$H$36


it is confusing as ,there is no file having a name as that,
it seems it is referring to itself,but still then it is saved having a
name as
NineBlock RB Multiproject Dragon 7_6_2011 .xlsx on my Desktop, not as
in the way mentioned above ,

does the word additional and [] have some different significance?

That could very well be the 'original' name of the file when the ref
was created. If you've renamed/deleted the original file then you need
to manually update the ref.
