double spaced signature?

A friend sent me an email and her 7-line signature was double spaced. It
does not happen to email sent within her office, just to folks outside her
office. When she created the signature, it was single spaced.

She is using Outlook (corporate, but I'm not sure what version). I am using
Outlook 2002 SP2.

Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this on her end?

She might want to end each line of her signature with Ctrl+Enter (a line break) instead of Enter (a paragraph break). HTML automatically puts a blank line between paragraphs.

Sue, thank you for replying. I want to test your answer before talking to my
friend. When I try to insert a Ctrl+Enter, nothing happens. The next
character, which should be on the next line, stays on the same line.

If you could tell me where the signature files are stored on my hard drive,
I could open the file within Notepad and edit the HTML. Within Outlook, I
created a signature file and named it "Judi"...did a search on my hard drive
for "Judi.*" and did not receive any results.

Never mind my previous email...I found where the signatures are housed on my
computer and was able to make the necessary changes. It is interesting,
though, that the Ctrl+Enter doesn't work while creating a signature file
within Outlook.

For anyone else who might be reading this post, signature files on my
computer are located at:
C:\Documents&Settings\Judi\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Signatures. I use WinXP
and Outlook 2002.
