What app did you install? Can you uninstall it and see if it helps
anything? More details would help - os name, lan or not, etc etc..

It seems I have to double log off too. I go to Start ---> Log Off ---> Log
Off and it takes some of the task bar icons away (down by the time). Then I
wait a while to see if it does anything and nothing does so I go through the
process again and it logs off as normal. It never used to be this difficult
before and I don't know why it would be so different now. I installed a
program but I don't think there is anything significant about this program
to make the computer have a hard time with Logging Off. I really would like
to know what I can do. I have tried to get rid of some of the icons myself
before Logging Off and that doesn't seem to help. It is such a hassle to Log
Off now it is somewhat making me frustrated not knowing what to do about it.
Please help somebody.
