For some reason, every email I send is received double. I have checked my
contact list and all contacts have only one address. I've been unable to
solve this problem. Any suggestions?

Go to the Tools menu>Accounts>and check that you only have one of the
accounts that does the duplicated sending in the list, if you have two set
up, remove one of them.

Steve, I follow your instructions by going to Tools>Account. That's where I
stopped and stuck. I did try to look around but your suggested solution is
not feasible at all. My recipients are receiving double, just like the user
in Colorado.
Can you elaborate and specify which steps are to be taken to remedy this
technical snafu?

Appreciated,

CA

Is your antivirus scanning outgoing email?
Turn off the email scan.

Either you are not using Windows Mail or you are not following his
instructions.
Open Windows Mail.
Click Tools.
Click Accounts.
Now you see a list of accounts. If there are two entries for the same
account click one and then cluck the Remove button.
