double click My Computer

Hello,

When I double click on My Computer, the machine will reboot its self. This
doesn't happen 'all' the
time. Nothing is flagged in the event viewer and I have the option to
automatically reboot in system
failure properties off so I was hoping to get a blue screen with a stop
code. I get nothing ! It is
running SP4 with all the updates and the only thing I've done different is
updated the IDE Master Bus driver
to a newer version (VIA KT8233). Any one have any clues how to trouble shoot
this ?

Maybe you have a trojan or a new virus at your computer.
Do you have an antivirus program?Update your antivirus database and scan
your computer in safe mode. Try to do the same think if you have an
anti-trojan program.

Yes I do have Norton with the latest Virus defs and yes I ran a scan in safe
mode and it did not flag anything. My spyware program flagged some minor
stuff but nothing else (Spybot search & Destroy and Adware) Any other ideas ??
