Hi,

I got a customer, who wants to change the size of the characters used
in DOS Windows. But if I rightclick the DOS-Window and click on
Properties, than nothing happens.

I included DOS-Windows on Windows Support to my Image, but seems, that
there is an other component missing.

Has anyone an idea wich component I need to include?

Thx,
Steffi

Steffi,

Without a deep look into what gets loaded for the DOS Window Properties, a quick suggestion: check if you've got "Fonts: XXXXX
bitmap fonts" component(s) in your image config. Where XXX dependencies on the system locale of the image (for instance, "Fonts:
Cyrillic bitmap fonts")

You may also want to add the following components:
Application Compatibility Core
Shell Application Compatibility
Windows Application Compatibility

Uhh, I'm glad, that there is no cyrillic stuff inside this image...

Oh cool, two new macro components... That's nice! ;-)

Command Window Property Page was the missing component.

KM, you are always there, and help other people with their problems -
and this nearly imediatly. Sometimes I wonder how you can do this.
Anyway it is time to say that, and I'm sure speaking in the name of
many users of m.p.w.e: A BIG BIG THANKS to you!

Stefanie,

Yeah, the console.dll (Command Window Property Page) was pretty obvious one :-) I am glad I mentioned the Shell Application
Compatibility which depends on the console.dll and much other stuff is often required for lots of "little functions" of XP(e).

You are welcome.
Frankly, NG helps me more than I help others here. Through many years I've learned that the best way to learn a product deeper than
the product documentation goes is to be fixing real customer issues. NG is the perfect field for that.
