Hi,

I have an old machine with DOS 6.2 and Win 3.1
I want to transfer some old files to my Win 2000 machine. How can I do
it quickly? The files are too big for a 3.5 floppy.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

jschping

Don't you have any ZIP software on your systems? Create a .zip archive of
your old files on the W3 system and restore them on the W2K one.

If you haven't already got the s/w, PKZip for DOS is shareware from
http://www.pkware.com/shareware

And WinZip from http://www.winzip.com/

Even if you don't want to buy the s/w, you get a free evaluation period which
should be long enough for you to make the transfer.
