i agree. thx.
Does someone here knows good sites to find old MS-DOS programs
that are either freeware or abandonware? *I DO NOT WANT GAMES*

Lots of good stuff there, and I DO WANT GAMES. There are some small ones there.Mike said:
Hope you can post it, there are still people interested in small/DOS programs.math said:I still have a lot of AI ( artificial intelligence ) software from my BBS
time ( 1990 - 1994 ).
I think it's about 400 Mb and most off it is freeware; there must be some
shareware between it.
90 % is for MSDOS and there is a little bit AI software for Windows 3.1x,
MacIntosh, OS/2 and Unix systems .
Is there a place where I can upload these programms; or ask if somebody is
interested in this software? It's great software for MSDOS and it would be
nice if the software could be downloaded somewhere.
On the other side ... who is interested today in those old MSDOS software?
Or wants to learn something about AI?
XP is a killer application for all that software. Could a M$ user work with
a DOS prompt? Almost no graphics, no shooting, no nothing for a XP user.
Is there still a life for this software or is it passed?

You may or may not have tried River Canyon BBS
You need a couple of hours to wade through it all:
