Hi, I have a HP 1200 printer connected to my Win2k PC via
a USB port. I have no problem printing from Windows, but
I use a Dos application (AccPac 7.0) and it will not
print to the USB port (DOT_4)does anyone have a solution
for me

thanks,

1) share your USB printer as a network printer
2) create a batch file such as this

net use lpt1 \\127.0.0.1\shared_printers_name

Just double click the new batch file before you go to
print/when you launch your Dos program to "capture" your
lpt1.

Instead of a batch file you might even just bhe able to
type it into start->run & it will be selectable from last
run commands/ drop down box. When first getting it to
work I'd type it in at a real dos command prompt window so
you can see sucess or error messages.

Note when you do this you may loose some Printer control
codes, which means try it & see if your results are
exceptable (i.e. no duplexing, ?? I dont think the 1200
duplexes anyway)
