Can anyone please tell me what the dos command is to tell
XP which programs I want to run at start of Windows. I
had it before but can not remember it now. I want to
delete MSN Messenger from startup, but I can't because it
keeps telling me that "This program is in use by
something else." Pleae, help me get rid of this
demon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can perform this by the following steps also:

1. Click Start
2. CLick RUn
3. Type msconfig and press enter
4. Select the startup tab
5. From the list select the program u want to remove
6. Apply and restart

MSN Messenger or just messenger? If it's msn then goto add/remove in control
pannel if it's just messenger then click start run and type RunDll32
advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

If you have Norton Antivirus 2003 it might be useful to uncheck the scanning
of MSN messages under options-> Norton Antivirus-> messages.
