Yes DOS!

Can anyone point me to instructions or preferebly an ISO image for creating
a DOS bootable CD. Mine has finally failed. I need to update my BIOS and
only have a dos option.

I have a blank CDr + Nero standing by! Google just turns up invalid urls or
advice that I should not need a DOS bootdisk and that I should abandon the
old DOS programme that I'm trying to use - not helpful advice for a BIOS
update!

TIA,
GT

There is an example here. See the link at the top of the
page, for the download.

If you don't want to waste media, you can test things
like that in the free Microsoft VirtualPC 2007. I was
able to "capture" and boot that iso.

Have fun,
Paul

Take a look at the source of that page, or copy and paste it into Word. You'll see a
bunch of links that are rather odd for a geeky article.

Very strange :-)

Since they don't show on the page, I guess there is no harm.

Maybe that raises the priority of the pharmacy in search engines ?
So it could be the site was hacked, and the hackers added
those lines for the purposes of showing up first if
someone searches for viagra etc. A search engine may rate
a particular site, by how many other sites refer to it.

Well, that's the Internet for you :-) They're gone.
So either the web admin on that site is super clever,
inserting hidden adverts at random, or the web
admin discovered the added content and reloaded
the site.

I've been corresponding with support at InMotion.com, the owners
of the ip address hosting the site, and it looks like they managed
to get hold of the customer, who has restored the site.

Had to go through them as the email address in the whois records
forwards to a no longer valid address.
