Unfortunately, we still run 2 DOS programs while we're waiting for our
programmer to upgrade these programs, but my question is that when a DOS
program is running, it takes 99%-100% of CPU resources and slows down
everything else till the program is closed.

I heard there is a way to change this where the DOS windows can be adjusted
to run at about 50% CPU resources but I've tried to change the .pif settings
for the Memory and Misc but that doesn't seem to help at all.

Besides upgrading software to a 32bit program which will take place in about
6 months, any options for me?

Thanks.. NB

Hi NB,
You will probably have to leverage a third-party utility to configure
processor usage for the DOS application, as I'm not aware of a way to do
this natively in Windows.

One such utility I've heard about from customers is available at
http://www.tamedos.com.
