Many people still use DOS. Try a DOS newsgroup (you know how to search
for newsgroups, right? google groups)

There is no market for such drivers.

Quite true. The 18 to 22 year old PC users these days have no idea how
to even boot to dos, much less get around in it, nor write drivers for
it.

Well, DOS isn't QUITE dead. A lot BIOS and firmware update programs
still use it. Some non-PC computers still use it (embedded controllers
and such). Some recovery and diagnostic tools still use a DOS
enviroment. Most of those have gone to DR-DOS, or FreeDos, instead of
MS-DOS, for licencing reasons (Microsoft actually cares about pirating
a 20+ year old product).

I can envision a situation where a manufacturer of embedded devices
want them to communicate wirelessly over a local network. And want to
save on R and D by using a PC card that is available, and already has
DOS drivers.

True, not dead yet. In fact the latex gloves that are used in the
doctors offices and hospitals, AND the condoms you buy in the drug store
are often still made with old computers that many of them still use dos5
to operate the machines. In fact, the condom you may use this weekend
may have been made by a dos 5.0 PC to operate the "dipping machine" in
the liguid latex drum. I still fix those type of PCs. Many of them still
work on 5 1/4 inch floppy drives if the hard drive is bad or failing.
