When someone is stuck, an install goes crazy, a BSOD appears, some "Gomer
Pyle", chimes up with "get a Mac". Some of us use PC's for our jobs, we
make good money using the PC, and wouldn't even think of turning to a MAC.
Not that the MAC is a good machine, because it is, but they don't need to be
telling us what computer to use. Maybe they should be trolling somewhere
else, go visit their Parole officers, but stay away from people who are
trying to get genuine help here!

Remember, for Mac-heads, its a religion. And their church is the local Apple
store, where they can talk with other true believers.

The real truth is computers are a tool, just like a hammer, and all this
platform worshiping/slamming is just as ridiculous as saying my Stanley
ball-peen hammer is better then your Craftsman....ect......

Don't worship your machine. Use it, beat on it, make it do what you want,
oh, and also learn all you can 'bout it.

If you want it to "just work", you'd probably be better off with a Mac. But
you would be just like a person who drives a car every day without having
the slightest clue how it works. Then it breaks, you take it in to be fixed,
and you get screwed by the mechanic cause he can tell you "the framgimet has
cross wired with kramitz, and it will cost $300 to fix", and you just say
yeah, go ahead and fix it.

Ignorance is not bliss, and if you want to continue to grow as a human
being, its up to you to fill your head with all the knowledge you can.

Its one of the reasons I upgraded to Vista. My XP was working fine, but I
was curious, and I was not afraid of the challenges of running a new OS. I
found problems, I found work a rounds, and even though a installed so I have
a dual boot with my ol' XP, I haven't had the need to go back to it....yet.

BTW, I use a Mac at work, and its fine as well. Its different from a Windows
box, but I really cant say its any better, just different.

Actually, what I love are weenies who don't know that it's "Mac", not
"MAC". It's not an acronym, it's short for Macintosh.
