just stock up on the RAM and shell out the cash for "ideal" hardware and
follow good old, credible Microsoft's recommendations...i'm sure we're all
rich like those execs up in redmond (lol)

I've seen some of their evangelist speakers bopping around with what I call
4+4

4GHz CPUs and 4 GB RAM

It must be nice to pick up the phone and call any OEM or hdw company and say
give me yuor latest, greatest processor and RAM.

Vista works fine on a 866mhz computer with only 383mb of memory (Dell
Dimension 4100). The only problem it has was Vista didn't know how to turn it
off so the screen when black but the computer stayed on for a while.

Very quick, but no Aero glass and no sidebar.
