Using Office 2K on Win XP Pro
When I publish a PowerPoint presentation to my website it works fine i
I specify a "add slide navigation controls". I move from slide to slid
using the menu. If I uncheck the controls option the first page come
up but I can't get it to move on to the other 57 pages.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

What kind of navigation did you provide in your original presentation
(the PPT file)? Are you relying on transition timings, action settings,
hyperlinks, what?

Add action buttons that perform the types of navigation you want to offer to
the Slide (it if there is one, Title) Master in PowerPoint. Typically Next
Slide, Previous Slide, Home, End Show.

These should become clickable/working buttons when you convert to HTML.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint does not have the specific capability that you are looking for
although, as others may have indicated there are workarounds which involve
also making changes to your presentation to provide navigation (HTML
version of a kiosk presentation).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
provide this functionality (without have to resort repeatedly to manual
workarounds), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
