Thank you, Russ. I am new to Outlook and not too computer savvy! I'm not
sure what the autocompletion cache is, but maybe that's what I'm talking
about. For instance, I do a lot with eBay, which means I communicate with
a
lot of people. Let me give you an example: I went to e-mail my sister,
and
I put her first name into a new e-mail and tabbed down to write (she's in
my
contact list). I happened to look up and the address that had come up was
to
someone I'd asked a question of in eBay--her name was the same name as my
sister's) and I almost sent my e-mail to that person! I was just
wondering
if there's any way not to keep those names. Maybe I just have to go
through
and delete every one? Thank you again!

Impossible.
Outlook 2003 does not save the email address of every sender (no email
client ever would).
It also does not save the email address of every recipient to the
Contacts
folder, only to the autocompletion cache.
Provide your evidence to the contrary.

Outlook 2003 saves the e-mail addresses of every person to whom I send
an
e-mail or from whom I receive an e-mail. Is there a way to set my
options
not to save all of these addresses? I keep my Contacts up to date, and
I
don't want all these other addresses. Thanks.
