Hi everyone,

I have saved about 100 web pages as offline. They are all pages from
ebay. I have put them all in a folder in favourites. How can I stop
them from being updated please. I want them to stay exactly as they
are NOW, and not to update everytime I open one.

Thanks in Advance.
All the Best.

Then you haven't used the right tool.
Use File, Save As... instead.

Thanks in Advance.

You're talking apples and oranges. Favorites are small text files ( *.URL)
If you have saved the URL they point to for offline use then most of the files
used to render them are kept in the TIF. (Others may not be saved at all because
they are marked noncacheable.) They are static only as long as you visit their URL
in a Working Offline state, i.e. render from the files kept in the TIF. (In that case
you might also be able to get away with changing your cache-checking option to Never
and still try to Work Online but I wouldn't want to put any bets on how long you would
be able to keep them in their original state just by using that option...)
Suffice it to say when you open them when online they can get updated because
they're part of the client's cache.

OTOH saved web pages are static and stored independently of the TIF.
Hence to use them you don't need to worry about your offline/online state
or your cache-checking option.
