Still trying to sort out why my machine has started crashing when trying to
remove a USB2 Flash Drive (mass storage device). I have been on to the
manufacturers and Toshiba but as yet it isn't resolved. The Chipset Utility
has been updated to no effect.
I was wondering it couldn't possibly be a result of downloading the file to
update my Autorun. If there is any chance of that am I able to uninstall
it? Don't suppose it is but thought I'd better check with the more techy
minded people.

Some external USB devices need to be safely removed before you disconnect
them. Do you have a Safely Remove Hardware icon in your Taskbar when the
Flash Drive is connected? If so, click on the icon to see if the drive is
listed.
