Dont know whats missing???

Part of various programs have just disapeared, when I click on works I get an
equator and when I recieve emails I cant read some of them cause it says cant
find path.??? some facilities of works are missing too. I have tried smart
restore, but it has put works on in different sections and not all facilities
are available. I have also restored to earlier time with no luck. Something
was done to my computer last october, well actually my dad had been messing
with it and I have no idea what he has done.(neither does he).But restore
does not let me go back this far. Any Idea's, Its driving my crazy now!!!

Impossible to know how to get back what's missing via newsgroups. It sounds
like someone used a "repair" method to fix up Windows and a few programs
were broken during the process. Only solution that I can suggest is to
reinstall the missing/broken programs.
