hi all - I am conecting to an XP file server using terminal server in the admin mode. I have done this many times before. Now I can get connected but do not get the windows logon screen - is there a way to send alt-cntl-del ? Any idea what is going on and how to get the logon screen

Thanks !

Hi - there's no such thing as an XP file server - typo?
Anyway - try control+alt+end and see if that brings up anything....

thanks. cntl-alt-end does not do anything. I just get a black screen then eventually TS disconnects the session

What's changed? Anything about the network via which you are connecting?
How about 3rd party software installed on the host?

Take a look at the following article:

It should help with your issue.
