Is the name of a photographic exhibition and book set in areas of London UK.
Here's a link to a news item on it: Urban
I only mention it here as I thought it accurately portrayed life as it is around me, this is a reflection of parts of London I've been around and worked in all my life.
Not often the pundits get it right but what struck me was how dramatic the pictures looked when if I see it all around me I don't even bat an eyelid.
I was raised on a council estate, must go back and take a few pics as as far as I know they haven't pulled it down yet. My estate wasn't so bad, it was built on land flattened by German bombs directly after WW2 and the houses and blocks of flats/apartments were built from brick, unlike the monstrosities and tower blocks that were built later in the sixties.
The Luftwaffe targetted that area as it was close to a large railway sidings that shipped armanents and supplies to the front lines.
