DONT BUY ATI 9600XT cards

They dont install properly, the tv oput function does not work
properly, the software is horrible, the user interface is obscenly
complicated, the support is non existant, the price is a rip off, the
noise is akin to an ACDC concert (awfully abnormally loud), the
booklet isnt even designed specifically for that card.

AVIOD! save your money!

Nvidia on the other hand... never had a single problem.

Hope this saves at least 1 poor soul out there in wastuing thier money
on this overhyped underachieving video card.

Bollocks! Mine installed fine and is working like a charm 8) In my wifes
PC anyhow!! lol

Since they never sold a single card they would not have the problems you
describe. Now, PNY on the other hand . . .

You need to exchnage your bad card for a good one LOL !!
My 9600XT rocks!! Damn good price-cost performance Plus
I can capture the Headbangers Ball now and it looks sweet!!
 
Never a prob wth my 9600xt. Be sure to remove any and all drivers
before installing catalyst drivers, even for other graphic boards from
ATI.
