Very nice :)

That case looks like a massive subwoofer :D

Are those tubes UV?

yup tubes and juice are both UV, not light though but the LEDs do a bit of a job lighting it

must get some night shots

g/f insisted on the pink fan controller by the way :D

Aah, that may look cool, but my little toaster will out-game you at the moment, methinks.

Are you gonna get a x1800?

just goes to show then that gfx card isnt the most important

i have a 9600 and i get 20 fps on cs:s on 1024x768 on all low - and the source engine is one of the most optimized available :(

well the mods were a joint effort on the additional cooling if you get me

as a rough guess ive spent about 400quid..

new case - 90
water chill system - approx 100
RAM - 60
PSU - 60
Cables - 12
Mother board - 75

also added a TV card

my opti drives, CPU, VGA and some of the RAM came from my old machine

i did want quite a good 'asthetic' purpose to as the machine is also set to become the center piece of m AV system, something that my old tatty box wasnt upto

also ive just run the prime number test on the CPU and hit a grand total of 39.3 degrees on the CPU Temp :D with the fans turned right up, my benchmark was on the old setup which thermally shut down at 75 degrees so i think the water system has been a worthwhile addition :D

also BF2 runs awesome now, was getting alot of problems due to the VGA turning into a 'hotplate' and roasting itself

Hi Jaxx

Great machine you have there!!

Also wanted to say I know Mansfield and the surrounding area v well - worked there 2000-2004. Loved (not!!!!) M1 especially J29/28 - always hold ups/accidents etc.....

Thanks Gabs :)

the hold ups wernt me! :D :D :D

j27 - j29 or 'chaos valley' as its known :D

I know this is a bit off topic but Mansfield and the surrounding area are the most difficult places to get to via M1 - you never know how long it's gonna take - I dreaded Monday mornings and Friday afternoons - I would often queue to get on M1 from M18 and then crawl to snail pace around Woodhall Services. That's when I started to listen to Radio 2 as the traffic information is so good - if I heard in good time that there were problems around J29 etc.... I would go to and from work via the A614/A1. I have known it take me up to 2 hours to do Doncaster to Mansfield or vice versa. Loved the job, hated the travel!!

tell me about it

and they boast 'only 10minutes from the motorway' on town information etc....

yes 10minutes if youve got an F14 fighter jet armed upto the teeth! it is a mare, but you get used to it :p :D
