what version of Access are you using? if Access 97 or

newer, you might find it easier to use RunCommand, which
replaced DoMenuItem. if you need further help, can you
give more info on what you're trying to do?
 
My version is MS Access_XP

guess is that RunCommand is still in use in that version,
rather than DoMenuItem. can you provide any specifics on
what you're trying to do?
