You can use separate password policies for child domains , and can also separate administration between parent and child domains. J Jimmy Andersson Sep 9, 2003 #3 Reasons for multiple domains: -Security/Administration (in regards of Administrative boundaries) -Politics -Replication -Laws -Business needs But remember that a domain is NOT a security boundary, in order to have a security boundary you need to have separate forests.
