HI

When I install Win XP professionel edition it did not ask
me if I belong to Worgroup or a Domain

It install as workgroup by default

Did I miss anything
Can I change from workgroup to domain

Right click on My Computer and select Properties (or open System from
control panel) You should be able to set domain from the Computer Name tab
 
certainly (if you have a domain controller and domain
administrator rights) right click "my
computer"/properties/computer name/change/enter the
domain name and follow the instructions in the wizard
