Olá, good afternoon to all! I have the following environment: one laptop with
operational system Windows XP Home that has that to be placed in a domain. I
go in Properties of My Computer > Name of the computer > Alterar. In this
border it does not appear the option of he places it in a dominio, in a
group, only has some configuration that can be modified so that it is
possible this inclusion? As he is made normally in the operascional system
Windows XP PRO. Debtor!

Hi - XP Home cannot join a domain (nor can Media Center Edition) - you will
need to upgrade this machine to Windows XP Pro.

WinXP Home is not designed to, nor can it truly be made to, join a
domain. Nor does it allow the same sort of seamless access provided by
Win9x, although domain resources can be manually accessed by properly
authenticated users.

While a WinXP Home machine cannot be made a domain member, it's
still possible for a properly authenticated user to access domain
resources from a WinXP Home PC. He/she merely has to enter his domain
user name at password for each connection/share required.

MyLogon will allow the user to log-on to the server with a username and
password, and to execute a logon script. In many ways this approach is
preferable for a laptop which may be used at more than one location,
especially as it doesn't involve the loss of all local software settings, etc
- as does joining a domain.

Hi - do you work for this company or have any affiliation with it? If so,
please include that info clearly when you post, or you may incur the ire of
