I seem to see a couple of these a day in the group. Am I correct in thinking
that if the user wasn't given local Admin priviledges they would be not able
to change the domain membership in the first place? So if their Admins
would not give them local Admin priviledges they would stop this from
happeing in the first place? I'm thinking about this because there are a
few situations where I have had to give Domain User local Admin priviledges
due to a barage of softwareware updates from a couple vendors that won't
update properly if the user isn't this way.
There are a few laptops with users who have home networks and I'm just
"waiting" for one of them to do this
.

You'll need to check with your domain administrators to get the computer
rejoined to the domain, and then work with them to get a logon that will
work off the domain.

I have a PC with Win 2000 Pro. I changed the network
from domain to workgroup and now i can't log on to the
system. I can't get by the password screen to undo my
error. There is a command prompt that flashes quickly as
I start. How can I disable the command prompt or get
into Windows?
