domain to workgroup user profile issues

I moved my PC from a domain to a workgroup and I am trying to figure out how to transfer my user profile. When I reboot as a workgroup, the former profile is labeled Account Unknown and I can not copy it or access it. Is there any way to resolve this? I temporarily have access to the domain and I can switch back to it, but soon I will be disconnected.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
 
Make sure your useraccount is a member of the local Administrators Group.
