Hello,

I am having this error: Domain Server Error: The Query Could not be
processed. Safety settings on this machine prohibit accessing a data
source on another domain

as shown on this link
http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/5566/errorki8.jpg

I have 2 domain: application server domain and the user domain. This
domain error occurs when I am trying to access the pivot table (the
code located on application server) from the user domain (on another
different domain)

I have allowed the application server domain to trusted site in both
domains (application & user). But I am still getting that error. I am
not sure what has caused the problem since I am not familiar with
domain interconnection thing. Any help is kindly appreciated :D

I forgot to mention that I think both machines are on the same
domain,
because, to login to either machine, whether the client or the
application
server, i use mycompanydomain\username

And, if it helps, I am able to access via VPN, and when on the
machine
itself, but not from any other machine whatsoever eventhough both are
on the
same domain

Suggest you post to the Windows Server newsgroup.
