I am trying to access files that are log-on specific. I am logging onto the
domain with the specific user account with a laptop connect to the network
via LAN cable. I can access all common files but cannot access the files on
the server that are specific to the account. This is also true when trying to
import a PST file into outlook. I have removed the machine from the domain
and re-entered it with no luck. I am using an exsisting account, not using
the add user option in the macro. Any ideas? I have added serveral computers
to this domain in the past using other windows OS with no trouble.

When you log on do you specify the account name in the format domain\user?
If you already had an account with the same user name then you are logged
on to the local account and not the domain account.
