Domain Location missing in "Add User" to Group

A Windows 2003 Server unexpectedly stopped showing the domain (shows only the
local machine name) in the Location field of an add user to group or to
directory security. Last known working in late October. I can log in as a
domain user and have even removed the machine from the domain and "re-bound"
it back in with no change. Other machines continue to work normally.
 
Please take this question to microsoft.public.windows.server.general.
 
Oops! Thought I cancelled this post before I moved to that group... Must
have posted anyway.

My error.
