Hi All

All the DCs in my domain have SP2 applied. Do i get into trouble If I apply
SP3 to one of the DCs?

Thank you for your help

Theo

why would you? they are there to provide a means of collectively installing
all critical microsoft updates.
I would definitely install sp3, on all of your servers.

Theo - no problem

Personally, I would stop short of putting SP4 on for the time being. I
always like to wait a few months after its been released before I install a
new service pack, gives microsoft time to iron out what they did wrong in it
:)
But seriously though, you should try and keep on top of installing all the
latest updates, even subscribe to the microsoft security bulletins and
regularly check Windows Update site.

There should be no issue in some servers running different sp's but try and
keep on top of it, for security purposes.

As mentioned there should be no prblem just rember to
make sure you do you upgrade one server and forget about
the rest of servers. There are problems that canarise
from having two differentservic pac levels.
