is there a way to move objects from 1 child domain to another child domain?
ex.
parent
child1 child2

move users etc from child1 to child2 , then child1 would go away.

There are two utilities that you can use to do this: movetree and admtv2.
When you have migrated the users and are ready to scrap the child1 domain,
be sure to properly demote all the domain controllers, don't just turn them
off.
