I have small network with 4 computers (3 windows XP and 1 Windows 2003) in a
workgroup. I would like to install Exchange 2003 on the Windows 2003
computer.
I understand that I need a domain to install Exchange. So I want to install
domain on the server.
I don't want all the other 3 XP computers to lose their settings so I want
them to keep login into their local computers and not the domain. In that
case:
1. Will they be able to use the exchange on XP computers ?
2. Will they be able to browse the network drives of the domain computer ?

Thanks for your time

You should be able to do what you are asking.

When you setup the domain and exchange, create user ID's
with the same name and passwords that you have on your
local workstations.

You can join the workstations to the domain without losing
their settings. Simply join the computer to the domain and
then copy the local profile to the new one.
