We are implementing 15 characters passwords for domain
admins at my company so it will use the NTLM hash and for
added security. My question is this... I've changed my
password to 15 characters (numbers, letters and special
characters)and now I keep getting locked out of my
account. One thing I notice is Outlook 2003 is the first
thing to prompt me for a pass, when I enter it, it just
keeps prompting me. Then I check and the account is
locked in active directory. I've checked to make sure
nothing is cached (I could be missing stuff). I've
restarted anything I may have been logged into. I'm not
the only one having problems. We have a SMS service
account that keeps getting lockout as well. Does anyone
have any ideas what the problems may be?
