I have Windows XP Home, have tried to prepare a
spreadsheet for accounts but the only options I have for
currency are either US Dollars or the Euro.
Does anyone know how I can apply British Stirling (£'s)
as an alternative or a default without having to enter
the £ symbol every time I enter figures in a cell.
Here's hoping someone knows - Mally

.
Start XP help and support center, type in conversion and
click green arrow. Select 'Install or remove code page
conversion tables' and follow the directions.

Which spreadsheet program are you using? None is part of Windows XP,
and I guess you are probably using the Microsoft Works suite that comes
bundled with some new machines. Using Excel from Microsoft Office, if I
take Format - Cells then either Currency or Accounting provides for
every currency known, and then some.
