One Handed Man [ OHM ]

I have had Outlook 2002 SP1 installed for some time. All has worked OK. In
the last weeks ( and I dont know why ) it keeps prompting me for the
password for my ISP account periodically even though it is retreiving and
sending mails OK. I put the password in and check the save password
checkbox, but to no avail, it still comes back and prompts me every now and
then.

Any Idea's before I trash outlook completely and go back to Express.

Best Regards - OHM

Try deleting and recreating the account under Email
Accounts, making sure you check the password there?

Or maybe double check the way you enter your
username/password.. Some weird POP servers use # or % for
logins instead of @ (for example (e-mail address removed)'s login would
be foo%bar.com) but this is rare. Check with your ISP as
to how they format their logins. Other than that I don't
know.

Cheers - I'll try
