I am trying to save video from a camera to a cd. I can get the video saved
to my computer, but when I try to save to the cd I get a message telling me
to insert a writable cd which is already inserted. I have tried inserting
the cd and rebooting but that doesn't help either. I can play cds and dvds
with no problem - just not save to one. I have tried movie maker as well as
the software that came with the video camera - nothing helps. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks John. I had already checked the recording tab. I am not competent
enough to do anything with the registry. I am not terribly techy. I still
don't understand why this should be so difficult since it appears to be a
fairly simple process. Thanks anyway.
