Doesn't recognize CD-RW

When I want to save something to a CD-RW a window tells me that I should insert de disk although there is a CD-RW inserted. If I want to read or open something from the CD, I can open it however. So apparently the computer does recognize the CD but it cannot write anything to it. How do I solve this problem

Right-click the CD drive letter and click PROPERTIES|RECORD tab.
Be sure recording is enabled.
 
get some packet writing software...wow...you have a mountain of info you
need to comprehend regarding re-writeable disks...prob CDR's also....
