Hi, I'm finding Windows Mail too slow comparing to Outlook Express.

I was using a PC, Windows XPpro and internet broadband. My Outlook Express
6, was working fine. I loved and used all the time.

Now I am using LapTop, Windows Vista, Wireless Connection. My Windows Mail
work too slow. Anything I ask, like new message, or reply. It opens too slow,
slower than opening a webpage.

Is it like that? Would anyone suggest me to use outlook 2007 or it's a
wireless problem?

Most of us do not have the slowness problem. I am also on a
wireless connection, and my Windows Mail is just as fast as
OE was. A few of those who reported slowness said they
saw improvement by opening the Calendar from within WinMail,
then closing the Calendar again. I know it doesn't make sense,
but that's what they discovered.

i had the same problem with mail and other programs.

go to task manager using cntrl - alt--del

check your cpu usage.

i had a program running zcfgsvc.exe which was using more than half of my
processing

it was lpocated in c:\programfiles\intel\wireless\bin

i renamed the program deleting the exe so it wouldnt load then rebooted. CPU
usage went down and its faster than xpever was
